This is an image of an Ozone Injection + UV Light System. This is becoming more popular for many application. This specific systems was sent to an aquaculture application where it was necessary to disinfect the water with ozone while leaving no ozone residual in the downstream water. The UV light removed all ozone in this system very effectively.
Ozone + UV is also useful for Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP). This is useful when the Hydroxyl Radical (OH-) is desired. |
